FLOW (Falling Love Ones Wings) In 2008, my son, Aaron Sean Flowers, was taken from us at just 19 years old. His death was a tragedy, but his legacy became my mission.

The FLOW Food Pantry & Care ClosetWeekly Meat Distribution Providing Hygiene, Dignity, and Essential Support.

Care Closet: essentials for individuals and families in transition—so no one goes without. Hygiene & Dignity Kits, Baby Essentials, Adult Diapers, seasonal gear (new socks, coats, underwear), and Safe Care (condoms, health resources).

FLOW Wall of Fame 2025: New Castle County Parks & Recreation Award — Presented for outstanding service through the FLOW Food Pantry at Garfield Park. 2024: The Jefferson Award (Multiplying Good) — The nation’s highest honor for public service, recognizing Shawna Flowers as a leader of impact. 2023: City of Wilmington Resolution — Official recognition from City Council for our commitment to supporting families and preventing violence. 2023: Compassionate Champion Award — Conferred by the Governor’s Office for excellence in delivering trauma-informed care.
